SUMMARY:Volunteer Training day for the Invasive Plant Removal Project
DESCRIPTION:The meeting will introduce volunteers to the invasive plants of DVPP\, how to identify them\, and properly remove them. \nResponsibilities \n\nParticipate in hands-on training to learn the identification and removal of invasive plants.\nAssist in ongoing removal efforts to help restore and protect the natural habitat.\nWork collaboratively with fellow volunteers and DVPP staff.\n\nQualifications \n\nNo prior experience required—training will be provided.\nInterest in environmental conservation\, native plants\, or community service.\nVolunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.\n\nAdditional Details \n\nThis training is the first step toward becoming a regular volunteer with the project.
