SUMMARY:Watershed Mngmt Group Living Lab Tour
DESCRIPTION:WMG’s Living Lab is our demonstration site of hydro-local living and watershed resilience\, as well as our office space. The campus is supported by rainwater for all indoor and outdoor needs almost year-round\, and includes extensive rain gardens\, a native food forest\, a 10\,000 gallon underground cistern\, art exhibits about Tucson’s history of flowing creeks and rivers\, a kids’ play area\, composting toilets\, and so much more. You’ll be led through our demonstration site by one of our Docents to learn about our many water harvesting systems firsthand.

Past presenters have included the AZ Fish & Game Commissioner\, Hatchery Managers\, and Fly fishing entrepreneurs. We also plan and report on fishing trips that we take individually and as an organization. Additionally each Tuesday we meet at Tiny’s for our “Lie and Tie” where we have lunch and learn and tie a new bug.
